B - Today "Today" was the first single to be released from Melanie B's second album, "L.A. State Of Mind". Released on 13th June 2005, this was a somewhat of a surprise considering that Melanie had said she would never return to music. The song received little video and airplay, and promotion consisted of a two-week UK promo tour before Melanie returned to Los Angeles. Success wasn't an issue for Melanie and saw the release of "Today" and the album as a gift to the fans, not for critical dissection. "Today" peaked at #41, and went on to sell 3,700 copies. UK Top
