Melanie B - L.A. State Of Mind

"L.A. State Of Mind" was the second solo album from Melanie B, now known as Melanie Brown. Released on 27th June 2005, it looked unlikely that Melanie would ever produce a follow-up to "Hot", but Melanie produced some tracks and wanted to release them as a present to the fans. Promotion was minimal as Melanie didn't care for chart success, and there was just one single from the album - "Today". Although a video was shot for "Beautiful Girl" and there were talks of a second single, this didn't materialise. The album failed to reach the UK Top 200 chart, peaking at a shocking #453, selling just 670 copies in its first week and just over 1,500 copies overall.
