Melanie B - Hot

"Hot" was Melanie B's first solo album, released on 9th October 2000. The album was due to be released on 18th September, but kept being pushed back, possibly because of "Tell Me" moving back and forth due to competition. When released, "Hot" entered the UK charts at #28 selling 7,419 copies in its first week. Despite producing three Top 5 singles, the album only ever re-entered the chart once after dropping from the Top 100, peaking at #95 when "Feels So Good" was released in February 2001. To date, the album has sold 52,000 copies in the UK.
